I started by painting commissions of horses and ponies though soon found cats and dogs were as popular.

I work from a good photo showing clear detail, especially of their eyes. If you are considering a portrait for later in the year or as a Christmas present, try to organise photos during the summer when light is more favourable and coats are at their best.

If you do not have any suitable photos then I am happy to come and take them for you.
